The Penedès region lies settled between the luminous Mediterranean coast and the cool heights of the mountain ranges along the coast of Catalonia between Barcelona and Tarragona provinces the region covers an area of a little over a thousand square kilometers where the vineyards occupy about 25.000 hectares.

The climate is Mediterranean and mild with an average temperature of 12ºC in the upper Penedès, where our vineyards are located , the soil is mainly clay with a limestone basis , the undulating land rising gently from the coast to the high ranges of the interior enables the different varieties of grapes to be planted on their most suitable microclimatic areas, our vineyards are grown on slopes and small hillocks that rise from 150 to 400 meters in height, Xarel.Lo, Macabeo, Parellada, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Cabernet Suvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir vines fit in this area to give their bests values.
